It’s upto us…no pressure…What I did was just clear my music library that had thousands and thousands of Secular music and went on downloading Gospel instrumentals (going through their backgrounds first on the internet) and music that I found very appealing or my type…And i choose these over the ones that the world has to offer.

Well Trace Bundy, Andy Mckee, Eric Morgranin are wonderful artists and I have listened to them but I still do not know about their backgrounds…Well this is my way of doing things and it does not have to be yours…But i do think that Secular music can (some believe, it definitely does) play a significant role in distorting our Faith. And I urge you and everyone to be really careful about what you listen to…It might not change your life drastically…You might not be Ghost all of a sudden, might not be ill or something terrible might not happen…But changes in your ways of thinking, attitude, and other small areas might be some of the areas that might get altered…Hahaha this is sounding a lil off track but let us be careful about what we are listening to, and where we are spending our time…

As Pastor Driscoll says, “We might not be sinning but the things that we are doing might not be WISE!!!”

The music is an expression of our worship and I believe it is often associated with worship because it is an easy way to express our feelings and thoughts about God and to God. I think it is important that we do not separate the worship we have through prayer, the giving of tithes and offerings, the preaching and hearing of God’s word, the reading of God’s word, and of course music.
I also think it is important that we realize we are obviously talking about the lyrics and not about the music. Because music does not have ownership nor can it be claimed as secular or christian. The tune may be recognized as such but there are both Christian and secular songs built off of the same chord structure and melodic tune, so what we really are concerned with are the lyrics.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.” (1 Cor. 6:12)

Honestly I do listen some secular songs but M not dyin fo that secular songs r intended for money and fame of the artist/s who spend time composing it. Its sole purpose is to grab the attention of the mass drawin them into an illusion when they find theirselves INSIDE the situation of the song. I listen to secular songs but mainly soft ballad music but m not telling it’s an exception. I myself gets hypnotized by the song (using imaginations and leading to other thoughts). Inspirational songs are also not exempted but think if the goal is to really send a message of the WORD OF GOD then it should not be called secular at all.

Smhw I agree wid ya. God created music dats y musicz (any) nt wrong bt d main thinz lyrics. Try to avoid too sentimental songs(e.g. gloomy sunday) n b alert wat we r lisenin. How was that? Hmm… that was too long. Well, you are reading this paragraph then I am sure that you enjoyed. And yeah I request you all my dear friends, brothers and sisters to notify me if you think that your reply should not be included here. I will be happy to remove them. Smiles!

Hmm… I am little more busy these days with my regular office works and classes and some other stuffs. I always wait Saturday and Sunday to come but these two days are always pre-occupied for me. Church service, hanging out with friends, time with children at children home, UNO time, prayer time, tea time at uncle’s shop, etc. are my usual activities. And I enjoy every moment I am spending. Besides these activities, there are some web projects which are keeping me more busy. Currently I am working randomly on three websites - OnlinePatrika.com, new design of ain.org.np and nnlpi.org.np. Most of the tasks in Online Patrika is almost finished. I am still working on ain.org.np, official website of ‘Association of International NGOs in Nepal’. They want some new features and new face for this website. Old version was also done by me. Website of ‘Nepali National Languages Preservation Institute’, nnlpi.org.np is almost done. I have recently changed theme of my personal website which I guess you already have noticed. Well, still I have to do some websites of my friends… Hope you guys will wait until I finish my some important stuffs. Well, this post is going longer…. Haha… I just wanted you to update myself. Anyways I will be posting more stuffs later. And one thing to say before signing out, I don’t have time to listen music these days but have plenty of time to use FB… yeah Facebook. Heheh…

Some questions arise in my mind regarding my future. What the future holds and what will happen next in my life? Why am I here and what’s the meaning of my life? Is this the right place to be or should I be here or somewhere else in this planet? Aahh… still so many questions… Let’s dump these questions and let me write something I can feel these days.

Well I don’t know exactly what my future holds but I am very much clear and sure that I know who holds my future. Hmm… now I think God intentionally makes us clueless about our future so that we can trust Him. Yeah, all He wants from us is to trust Him and rely on His plan. He has best package of wonderful plans for each of us.  I am so much thankful for His special and perfect plan for me which I can’t see now. That must be a great surprise for me from my Heavenly Father as I Corinthians 2:9 says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.” I like this verse, He loves me and I love Him too. When we obey Him, He will give us more than we deserve, more than we think and definitely more than we ask. We can’t even think the good plans He has for our future. He has promised to be always with me. I love Him and trust Him… and I am so much thankful for everything that He has given me. \o/

At first I am so much thankful to my Creator who created me to be here in this planet to be a son, a brother and a friend. I am thankful to my mom and dad. I am here because of you. You taught me right from wrong and always nurtured my every needs. Thank you for your love and all the support you did for me through all my childhood days. No matter how old I am, I will always be your child. I am really blessed with my mom, dad and my brother. I love you all.

Thank you all my friends for being with me, for encouraging me to move forward, for being my best companion, for lending me your helping hands. Hmm… I have a lot of reasons to thank you all. I am thankful to have wonderful friends, brothers and sisters in my life. Well thanks to you all who wished for my best in my day. Thank you for reminding me that I am blessed and I am loved always. Thanks a lot for your unexpected surprise and for always being there to make me remember that I am special. I love you all and you all are special for me.

You are with me sitting by my side when I see no one else around me. I can see you and you comfort me when I am broken into pieces. I see only you as my destination when I am confused and lost in this world. When I don’t feel that I am strong enough and I am falling down, you are always there to lift me up. You are there always to see every drop of my falling tears and to listen silent screams of my heart. But you are not here. Yeah, I know you are not here but you are always in my heart.

Well I won’t be available for few days. I am going to attend youth camp at Gyaneshwor Church. Last year camp at Hetauda was full of blessings. And hoping same this time also… Anyways I miss that time with friends. I miss that moment coz something new and different happened in my life during that days. I will share more from this camp and will update some photos after the camp is over. Will miss you all.  See ya…
